The job John did for us was what we considered, quite difficult as we live on a 60′ enbankment over the ocean.

While he removed 4 trees on the bank plus an arbutus tree right beside our house, John showed good safety practices while he genuinely looked like he enjoyed his work.

The old arbutus tree was 30″ at the base and it had grown into almost two tops leaning over our house on one side and the neighbours hedge on the other side.

John didn’t have any problem removing the tree safely while keeping ours and the neighbours property intact.

We would definitely recommend John as a reliable, safety conscious worker.

My husband and I were very pleased with the tree work we had done recently by John from Ferns to Firs Tree Care. Our very large oak tree was long overdue for attention and our neighbours were anxious that we address branches overhanging their yard. John was very thoughtful and careful in his work and he communicated with us throughout to provide information and describe his intentions. The results were highly satisfactory in both the final aesthetics of the tree and its ongoing health. Best of all, John ensured the clean-up was meticulous!

When we called John for this job, even he was a bit concerned about the size of the  job that needed to be done.

We had two of the biggest and ugliest Dr. Suess-style pine trees in our backyard that needed to come down. Long, heavy branches overhung the fence and our neighbours house, and we wanted to keep our yard intact as much as possible from each fall. Seasonal winds and shortening days made timing of the work critical.

The result – an amazing feat was undertaken, and John and his team met the challenge with five star service. We were impressed by their care and attention to safety.  John is a very hard worker with great skill and knowledge.
