CABLE AND BRACING

Cable and bracing a tree is done to extend the life of the tree where it would otherwise be cut down, usually attached to a tree with 2 or more stems. This system uses both a steel cable system (where drilling into the tree is done to place equipment) and a dynamic system where a nylon rope(non-invasive technique) which is attached at 2/3rds of the height of the tree. The more stems, the more cabling and bracing may be required.
